  • Published datasets classified by topic and sub-topic.
  • Browser sessions language with which you have accessed
  • Monthly registered users evolution
  • Monthly requests for information

We add a new functionality to the portal: the search of datasets by geolocalization. This allows the users to filter the datasets that contain geolocalizated data and, therefore can be represented on a map. The functionality also distinguishes between the data that the portal can preview, in this case on the OpenStreetMap base.

The dataset includes information about some of the spots in the city where there are cleaning difficulties. The information shown is the result of the daily monitoring of the critical spots, task inside the Campaign for Better cleaning in the city of Barcelona working since February 2017 up until January 2018.

The Open Data BCN service publishes open code to the Ajuntament de Barcelona’s GITHUB. Two CKAN extensions, created by the development team of the Open Data BCN service, have been published: odatabcn and federagobes.

Open Data BCN, the Ajuntament de Barcelona’s open data portal has federated with the open data portal of Spain: datos.gob.es. This one is also federated with the European Data Portal.

16 datasets have been updated with statistical data from 2016 relating to Population and Housing.

20 new datasets have also been created with five yearly summaries on birth, mortality, fecundity and life expectancy, grouped according to different criteria.

The Portal reaches the 400 published datasets due to the publication of two new ones. The new data is about names. One dataset is about the frequency of the 25 most common names for newborns in the city of Barcelona every year, since 1996. The other one is an historical series about the frequency of the 50 most common names of citizens registered in the city of Barcelona, distinguishing by gender and decade of birth.

Cycle line net data of the city of Barcelona has been publish: Zone 30, Cycle paths, Green Round, Bicycle lanes, Bicycle lanes in construction and also those of other municipalities in the Metropolitan Area.
