Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge Third edition_2020
After the success of the first two editions, the Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge First edition_2018 and the Second edition_2019, the Barcelona City Council prepares the Third edition_2020.
Who can participate?
Educational centres of the city of Barcelona, prioritizing those using public funds. More specifically, students from the 3rd and 4th grades of the ESO and students from formative courses, through their teachers, without restrictions by the subject they teach.
Each centre will participate with only one project which will represent the school and will be evaluated by the jury of the contest.
The organization formed by the Barcelona City Council, the Consorci d'Educació de Barcelona, CESIRE and Barcelona Activa SA, offers to the teachers the possibility to participate in a Specific Training Plan on open data, which includes training on the Open Data BCN portal and the tools for its treatment.
The conditions to participate are: the availability of places and the effective participation in the contest Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge Third edition_2020.

Measures to adapt to the exceptional circumstances arising from COVID-19
Given the exceptional circumstances arising from COVID-19, the criteria and timing for the submission of works of the competition is adapted to the new context, with a format that aims to provide maximum ease of participation and also maximum visibility to the projects that the students have done with great dedication and effort under the tutelage and support of their teachers.

Delivery will be made either at Portal de Trámites del Ajuntament de Barcelona and in this case it must be taken into account that only.pdf format with a weight of no more than 5MB is accepted or via a generic address email@example.com.
Optional : Brief presentation and/or group photo
- Brief recorded presentation of the authors, which would serve as an introduction or explanation of their project, without that recording being valued.
- A photograph of the entire workgroup (photo collage or similar)
In this case the delivery will be made to the generic address firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Publication of ALL the infographics delivered
