For the fourth consecutive year, teachers in schools in the city of Barcelona have the opportunity to present open data to their students of 3rd, 4th of ESO and Training Cycles with the initiative Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge Fourth edition_2021.

This year the challenge presents as a novelty the ability to work with other open datasets in addition to those published on the Open Data BCN portal. Also, among the deliverables to be evaluated, it will be necessary for students to include a small video presentation of the project.

The challenge allows the free presentation of projects within the deadlines enabled for this purpose, but also offers interested teachers a Specific training plan on open data, within the Convocatòria unificada de programes del Consorci d'Educació de Barcelona, ​​in which 8 schools have already registered. These sessions will be held virtually.

The 10 best projects among all participants will be published on the official website of the Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge, the authors receiving a diploma as finalists and the 3 best-scored projects will be awarded.
