The teachers enrolled in the Specific Training Plan on open data within the Barcelona Dades Obertes Challenge initiative, attended yesterday, January the 28th, the second training session, this as well as the first one, in virtual format.

Tools for processing data, such as spreadsheets, and interesting recommendations and programs such as Datawrapper, Flourish, and Instamaps to visualize them, were presented to the attending teachers reinforcing their knowledge or making them acquire new ones. , which will be transmitted to the students with whom they will work projects based on open data published everywhere, with the only condition that at least one dataset of those they use is from the Open Data BCN portal.

We thank all the participants again for their interest and place them in the following sessions.

We also remind you that participation in the competition can be done without attending this training. All you have to do is submit a project that will represent the school as indicated in the Bases and Call for participation.
