The European Data Portal includes in its May agenda Barcelona Open Data Challenge First edition_2018 final event.

This innovative project led by the Barcelona City Council, with the collaboration of the Consorci d'Educació de Barcelona and CESIRE, is based on the idea that future reusers are now in schools. The aim is  to introduce the open data in the city of Barcelona  schools through a contest.

The initiative has been presented in important events as the Open Data Day 2018 and  the Congrés  Govern Digital Local 2018 and has been very well received in open data world. Everybody agree  its  big social impact and it will increase exponentially new infrastructure knowledge.
